Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kalilah Tucker and Janiah Murray Lead Hapeville Charter to Victory

Hapeville Charter won the last time they faced Coretta Scott King YWLA and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hapeville Charter Hornets managed a 37-31 win over the Coretta Scott King YWLA Soaring Eagle. The victory was some much needed relief for the Hornets as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Leading Hapeville Charter to victory were Janiah Murray and Kalilah Tucker. Murray went 8 for 13 en route to 20 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals, while Tucker went 6 of 15 on her way to 15 points along with six boards and three steals. Tucker continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Tubriyia Daniels was another key player, putting up no points along with 14 rebounds, five steals, and three blocks.
