Baseball Recap: Normangee Comes Up Short

Normangee fell victim to Centerville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Billy Makepeace spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

Normangee's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Centerville, they pushed their record up to 13-6-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.
