Recap: Hart 2 Hart Academy Warriors vs. First Assembly Christian Academy Eagles
After flying high against the Gainesville Christian Community Warriors last Thursday, the Hart 2 Hart Academy Warriors came back down to earth. Hart 2 Hart Academy took a serious blow against First Assembly Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 62-29. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hart 2 Hart Academy in their matchups with First Assembly Christian Academy: they've now lost eight in a row.
Daniel Bliffin and Jordan Keen certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Bliffin scored 13 points along with nine rebounds, while Keen dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. Keen is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.
First Assembly Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Quintin Roberts dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 steals and Ta'Bryant Wooden dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Roberts has scored all season. Jausten Rivera was another key contributor, scoring five points along with ten steals.
Hart 2 Hart Academy bumped their record down to 3-11 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for First Assembly Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.
Hart 2 Hart Academy will be playing at home against First Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for First Assembly Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Northside Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
