Basketball Recap: Neptune Starts Season with Victory Against Manchester Township

Neptune gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They managed a 41-35 victory over the Manchester Township Hawks. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Scarlet Fliers as it put an end to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Neptune and Ocean Township will compete for holiday cheer at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manchester Township, they will be home for the holidays to greet Middletown North at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
