Volleyball Recap: Tullahoma Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Tullahoma and Columbia Central, and Columbia Central kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Lions on Tuesday. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-17.

Gabriella Dacosta paced Tullahoma's offense, picking up seven kills. Dacosta got some help from Avanley Metcalf and her 14 assists.

Tullahoma moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Columbia Central, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Tullahoma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Forrest on the 27th. As for Columbia Central, they will face off against Coffee County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
