Volleyball Recap: Etiwanda Comes Up Short

Etiwanda's tournament run continued when they took on Harvard-Westlake on Saturday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Wolverines. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lauren Furnald paced Etiwanda's offense, picking up eight kills. Furnald got some help from Kamryn Andrews and her 11 assists. Finally, Saaliyah Brown and Kaila Nassar kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Etiwanda's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Harvard-Westlake, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Etiwanda didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Cypress on the 16th. As for Harvard-Westlake, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against West Ranch on the 16th.
