Football Recap: Lakeside Starts Season with Win Against Pomona + How To Watch

Lakeside had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down the Pomona Red Devils 31-14.

Among those leading the charge was Robert Arellano, who rushed for 54 yards and two scores, and also threw for 264 yards while completing 76.2% of his passes. 95 of Arellano's passing yards were hauled in by Quedon Allen.

Looking ahead, Lakeside is taking a road trip to face off against Tahquitz at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pomona, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Garey at 7:00 p.m.
