Rim of the World has been on the road for seven straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Fontana Steelers at 5:15 p.m. Rim of the World will be strutting in after a victory while Fontana will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Saturday, Rim of the World was able to grind out a solid win over United Christian Academy, taking the game 2-0.
Meanwhile, Fontana came up short against Kaiser on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Steelers in their matchups with the Cats: they've now lost eight in a row.
After all that action, the final score was 25-6, 25-14, 24-26, 25-23.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Emily Figueroa, who had 23 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Zayra Guzman, who had 18 digs.
