Softball Recap: Franklin Wins Going Away Against Cleveland

Franklin lost to Cleveland on April 11th, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Quakers blew past the Warriors 10-4. The Quakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 6-9-1. As for Cleveland, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will venture away from home to face off against Roosevelt at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Roughriders will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Quakers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cleveland, they will challenge Ida B. Wells at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors are facing the Guardians at the right time seeing as the Guardians are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
