Soccer Recap: South Florence Comes Up Short

South Florence fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Crestwood on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 4-2 to the Knights. South Florence have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

South Florence's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Crestwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

South Florence and Crestwood will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Bruins see the pitch they'll take on West Florence at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Crestwood, their break will end when they face East Clarendon at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th.
