Basketball Recap: Roselle Park Comes Up Short

Roselle Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. The game between them and the American History Eagles didn't end well, with the Roselle Park Panthers falling 71-55. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 410th, while the Eagles are ranked 169th).

American History's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ah'Mad Woodard, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ihjamir Williams, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds.

Roselle Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for American History, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-6.

Roselle Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American History, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Becton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
