Football Recap: Michigan Collegiate Comes Up Short

Michigan Collegiate and Edison Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Michigan Collegiate had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 48-14 loss at the hands of the Pioneers. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pioneers earlier this season, when they won 24-0.

Michigan Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Edison Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Michigan Collegiate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edison Academy, they will square off against Almont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
