While losing is never fun, Parkland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while R.J. Reynolds are ranked 60th).

Yovani Echeverria wasn't going to let R.J. Reynolds walk away unscathed as he scored both of Parkland's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

Parkland's loss dropped their record down to 3-15-1. As for R.J. Reynolds, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4-5.
