Baseball Game Preview: Valley Forge Military Academy Trojans vs. Harriton Rams

The Valley Forge Military Academy Trojans will head out to face off against the Harriton Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Valley Forge Military Academy is looking for their season's first win.

Valley Forge Military Academy came up short against Calvary Christian Academy on Wednesday, falling 18-1.

Meanwhile, Harriton hadn't done well against Penncrest recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way last Wednesday. The Rams' pitcher stepped up to hand the Lions a 3-0 shutout. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The result came thanks to Sam Bohnenkamp's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up 13 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bryce Siegel was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season.

Harriton's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Valley Forge Military Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
