Softball Recap: Streetsboro Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Streetsboro managed to slip by Field the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rockets lost 13-1 to the Falcons on Monday. The Rockets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Streetsboro saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amy Rein, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Streetsboro's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5. As for Field, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Streetsboro will welcome Cloverleaf at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets are facing the Colts at the right time seeing as the Colts are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Field, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ravenna at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
