After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mount St. Dominic Academy, Montclair was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Nutley Maroon Raiders, sneaking past 4-2. That's more bragging rights for the Mounties, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Montclair's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-3. As for Nutley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Montclair didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-1 win against Newark Academy on the 16th. Nutley has also already played their next game (against Bloomfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
