On Orland's side, Roy Alexander was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 12 over 4.2 innings pitched. Alexander has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kannon Gunness, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with six stolen bases and four runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Victor Guerrero, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
