No. 2 DeSoto survives battle with Coppell. Moeller knocks off Colerain.

Several ranked teams were tested - and survived - to retain their spots in this week's Xcellent 25 National Football Rankings presented by the Army National Guard.

No. 2 DeSoto scored with less than a minute remaining to defeat previously ranked Coppell in the Class 5A-I playoffs.

Northwestern moves up one spot after another impressive victory over a very good York squad. The team's defense, as well as its storied offense, continues to perform.

In Ohio, Archbishop Moeller defeated previously unbeaten Colerain to make a move up the rankings. It could square off with St. Edward in the Division I final if both squads win this weekend.
