Soccer Recap: Loyola Academy vs. Taft
Loyola Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Taft Eagles. The Ramblers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Loyola Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-2. As for Taft, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7-2 record this season.
Loyola Academy will square off against Saint Ignatius College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Saint Ignatius College Prep's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Taft, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Lake View at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
