Lakeview is a perfect 10-0 against Crete since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will square off against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Lakeview will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Lakeview made easy work of St. Paul and carried off a 3-0 win.

Lakeview walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Crete came up short against Milford on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Cardinals have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-11.

Lakeview's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Crete, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.

Lakeview took their victory against Crete when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
