Cian Moore put up the most runs he's had since back in May of 2024 on Monday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he scored three runs and stole six bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Covington is undefeated when Moore posts two or more runs, but 6-9 otherwise.

Moore's strong effort led Covington over North Vermillion and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans are a perfect 10-0 against the Falcons going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
