Leakey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 31st straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 50-37 to the Medina Bobcats. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Leakey's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Medina, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-14 record.

As for Medina, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Medina Bobcats take on the Nueces Canyon Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Nueces Canyon has lost five straight at home , while Medina has lost three on the road.
