Basketball Recap: Henderson Comes Up Short

Henderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Chapel Hill Bulldogs 89-31. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1316th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 345th).

Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Chapel Hill, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-5.

Henderson will welcome Gilmer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chapel Hill has already played their next game (against Cumberland Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
