Football Game Preview: Coral Glades Jaguars vs. Stoneman Douglas Eagles

The Coral Glades Jaguars will take on the Stoneman Douglas Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coral Glades will be strutting in after a victory while Stoneman Douglas will be coming in after a defeat.

Coral Glades took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Hallandale 15-14.

Coral Glades didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Elijah Freeman, Anthony Casseus, and Jaidyn Dantinor picked up one apiece. Bryan Pierre was another major factor on D, picking up two sacks and making five total tackles.

Meanwhile, Stoneman Douglas ended up a good deal behind Boca Raton on Friday and lost 24-6. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The win got Coral Glades back to even at 3-3. As for Stoneman Douglas, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coral Glades beat Stoneman Douglas 21-14 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
