With a playoff win on the line, Clear Creek rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the King Panthers. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

Clear Creek is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for King, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-12-1.

Looking ahead, Clear Creek will challenge Alvin on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 3.7, the Yellowjackets 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. King does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
