Northeast waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 42-35 victory over Central Heights. For Northeast, this counts as revenge for the 42-27 win Central Heights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2025.

Central Heights' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carly Matile, who posted nine points. Matile continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Makenzie Moon, who put up 13 points.

Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 13-2-1. As for Central Heights, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Northeast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-10 win against Chetopa on the 10th. As for Central Heights, they have also already played their next game, a 41-35 loss against Yates Center on the 9th.
