Softball Recap: Carson Takes a Loss

Carson lost to Spanish Springs back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Senators fell 6-1 to the Cougars. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lizzy Barker, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was Barker's first of the season.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Spanish Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.

While Carson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
