Baseball Recap: Rose Bud Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Rose Bud's offense. They came up short against the West Side Eagles on Thursday, falling 9-0. The loss continues a trend for the Ramblers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Rose Bud saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jay Bell, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases.

Rose Bud's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for West Side, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Coming up, Rose Bud will host Pangburn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Side, they are taking a road trip to take on Viola at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Longhorns will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
