Basketball Recap: Clements Skates Past Tanner with Ease

Clements won the last time they faced Tanner and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Clements Colts blew past the Tanner Rattlers 64-28. Given the Colts' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Rattlers are ranked 375th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tanner's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubrey Oliver, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Kali Adams, who put up seven points.

The victory got Clements back to even at 12-12. As for Tanner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-21 record this season.

Clements has already played their next match (against East Limestone), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tanner has already played their next game, an 80-18 defeat against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy on the 27th.
