Basketball Recap: Southwest Prep Northeast Comes Up Short

Southwest Prep Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Vanguard Christian Knights, falling 59-27.

Vanguard Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isaiah Postell, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Those 22 points gave Postell a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of David McDonald, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 15 boards.

Southwest Prep Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Vanguard Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

As of now, neither Southwest Prep Northeast nor Vanguard Christian have any future games scheduled.
