Volleyball Recap: Ozaukee Beats Wayland Academy for Their Fifth Straight Win

Ozaukee waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Wayland Academy Big Red 3-0. The Warriors not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

Ozaukee was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-15.

Adalyn Krenek paced Ozaukee's offense, picking up seven kills. Krenek got some help from Helen Utecht and her 20 assists. Utecht also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maddy Barnes, each putting up five.

Ozaukee's victory bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Wayland Academy, they are on a 24-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-26.

Coming up, Ozaukee will head out to take on Central Wisconsin Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wayland Academy, they will welcome Madison Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
