Staley came tearing into Wednesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the North Kansas City Hornets get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Falcons have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jacob Garcia looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Grant Madrid, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Brady Ellis also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Staley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Kansas City only posted an OBP of .238.

Staley pushed their record up to 31-3 with the victory, which was their 16th straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for North Kansas City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-24 record this season.
