Terrell won the last time they faced Corsicana, and Danielle Jones did her part to make sure it happened again. The Terrell Tigers took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 77-41 win over the Corsicana Tigers thanks in part to Jones, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards.

Markeita Shaw was another key player, putting up seven points along with 18 rebounds and five assists. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in the last four games she's played.

Terrell moved to 12-17 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak. As for Corsicana, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season.

Terrell and Corsicana could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Terrell will square off against Crandall at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 364 places (693 vs. 329). Meanwhile, Corsicana (ranked 792nd) will meet Midlothian Heritage (ranked 129th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
