Baseball Recap: New Mission Takes a Loss

New Mission was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 17-7 to the Charlestown Townies. The Titans were not able to make up for their loss to the Townies from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

New Mission now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Charlestown, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Mission will challenge Tech Boston Academy/Academy of Public Service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. As for Charlestown, they will face off against Boston Latin Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The Dragons' pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so the Townies' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
