Basketball Recap: Black River Comes Up Short

Black River lost against Coloma back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Black River Rats fell 60-47 to the Coloma Comets.

Black River's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Coloma, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Black River will venture away from home to take on Galesburg-Augusta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coloma, they will head out on the road to face off against South Haven at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Haven will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Coloma surely won't give up without a fight.
