Volleyball Game Preview: Rochelle Hubs vs. Sycamore Spartans + Official Tickets

Rochelle is 2-8 against Sycamore since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Hubs will host the Spartans at 5:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Rochelle didn't have quite enough to beat Ottawa and fell 2-1. While the Hubs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pirates 25-21 in the first set.

Rochelle started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Morris typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Sycamore proved too difficult a challenge. They won by a set and slipped past Morris 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Sycamore got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-23.

Sycamore's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Rochelle, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-16.
