Volleyball Recap: Galva Wildcats vs. Knoxville Blue Bullets
Galva was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knoxville Blue Bullets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.
The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Knoxville scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17.
Knoxville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalie Harshbarger, who had 11 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Wight, who had 11 digs.
