Volleyball Recap: Greencastle-Antrim Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Victory

Greencastle-Antrim entered their tilt with Shippensburg on Monday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Greyhounds. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-9, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greencastle-Antrim to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaitlyn Alvey, who had four aces and three digs. Alvey has been hot, having also posted 14 or more assists the last five times she's played. Hayden Baer also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Greencastle-Antrim was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Greencastle-Antrim's record is now 13-1-3. As for Shippensburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-13.
