Volleyball Recap: Centennial Coyotes vs. Chaparral Firebirds

Centennial and Chaparral squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Centennial had to settle for second. They came up short against the Firebirds, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Firebirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-14.

Centennial's offense was headlined by Haley Rouse and Alex Thompson, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Isabella Palladino and her 18 assists. Thompson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Caprice Cooper had an outrageously good game for Chaparral as she had 19 digs and eight assists. That's the most digs Cooper has posted since back in October.
