Basketball Recap: Waverly Central Takes a Loss

Waverly Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harpeth Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 63-54 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.

Waverly Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Harpeth, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Waverly Central nor Harpeth have any future games scheduled.
