Volleyball Recap: Sebastian River Takes a Loss

Sebastian River and Legacy squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Sebastian River had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The Sharks just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-19, 25-19.

Addison Muth paced Sebastian River's offense, picking up ten kills. Muth got some help from Danielle Primavera and her 11 assists. Taygen Ramos controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Leading Legacy to victory were Kherington Neikirk and Paisley Woods. Neikirk had eight digs and six aces, while Woods had 11 digs and seven assists. That's the most aces Neikirk has posted since back in September.

Sebastian River's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Legacy, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-7.

Sebastian River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Legacy, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against South Fork on the 14th.
