Antioch is 9-1 against Grant Community since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Sequoits will welcome the Bulldogs at 4:45 p.m. Antioch will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

While Antioch's victory against Wauconda wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Sequoits skirted past the Bulldogs 5-3. That's two games straight that the Sequoits have won by exactly two runs.

Meanwhile, Grant Community came up short against Carmel on Monday and fell 14-9.

Antioch's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Grant Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9-1.

Antioch took their win against Grant Community when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 13-3 score. Will the Sequoits repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
