Basketball Recap: Thomas Worthington Takes a Loss

Thomas Worthington played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 58-32 to the Olentangy Berlin Bears. The CARDINALS have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Olentangy Berlin found their leader in freshman Kelsey Grubbs, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Grubbs has scored all season. Cami Elliott was another key player, going 5 of 10 en route to 14 points in addition to seven assists and five boards.

Thomas Worthington's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Olentangy Berlin, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
