Softball Recap: South Hills Comes Up Short

After flying high against Polytechnic last Friday, South Hills came back down to earth. The Scorpions fell just short of the Fort Worth Country Day Falcons by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday.

South Hills saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Valeria Perales, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

South Hills' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-16-1. As for Fort Worth Country Day, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Looking ahead, South Hills will venture away from home to face off against Trimble Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Worth Country Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
