After a string of four wins, Gallatin's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Gracie Hibdon paced Gallatin's offense, picking up ten kills. Hibdon really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 12.

Gallatin's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Middle Tennessee Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gallatin will take on Mount Juliet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middle Tennessee Christian, they will be playing at home against Providence Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
