Preview: Livingston Academy Wildcats vs. White County Warriors
The Livingston Academy Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the White County Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Livingston Academy will be strutting in after a victory while White County will be coming in after a defeat.
Livingston Academy had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Cumberland County by a score of 19-7 on Friday. The win was just what Livingston Academy needed coming off of a 35-0 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for White County, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 35-20 loss to DeKalb County on Friday.
Despite the defeat, White County got a solid performance out of Tripp Pinion, who threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only eight passes.
Livingston Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for White County, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Livingston Academy took a serious blow against White County when the teams last played back in August of 2022, falling 48-0. Thankfully for Livingston Academy, Malaki Dowell (who rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
