Our Lady of Good Counsel faced DeMatha in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Falcons took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stags. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Stags: they've now lost three in a row.

Jackson Rice threw for 40 yards on seven of 21 attempts. On the ground, Paul Alston rushed for 47 yards.

Our Lady of Good Counsel's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for DeMatha, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.
