Baseball Recap: Turner Takes a Loss

Turner lost against Adams back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Turner came up short against Adams, falling 19-7. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Turner dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Adams, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Turner will face off against Lone Star at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Turner is facing Lone Star at the right time seeing as Lone Star is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Adams, they will host Spruce at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spruce has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.36 runs per game on average), something Adams will no doubt try to take advantage of.
