Recap: Saugatuck Trailblazers vs. White Pigeon Chiefs
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Saugatuck Trailblazers can now relate to. They were dealt a 30-0 loss at the hands of White Pigeon on Friday. Saugatuck has struggled against White Pigeon recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Matthew Hartgerink threw for 47 yards on four of ten attempts. Landon Miller was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards. On the ground, Will Doucette rushed for 63 yards.
Saugatuck has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-3 record this season. As for White Pigeon, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-1.
