South Salem strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Beaverton Beavers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Saxons also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2018.

Noah Scharer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Teagan Scott, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

South Salem's victory was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 28-0. As for Beaverton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

As of now, neither South Salem nor Beaverton have any future games scheduled.
